Flatt and Scruggs recording speed Empty

I was wondering if any of Earl's old Banjo instrumentals were sped up, things like Flint Hill and Dear Old Dixie on record are very fast but I can't say I've ever heard Earl play that fast live. I know some modern tunes are sped up but technology has advanced since then, right? Then again, they got it on record in the first place, why couldn't they alter it?

Or perhaps it was sped up after it was put on CD.

So does anyone have any info on this? Sped up or played exactly like it is on record?

Nothin is sped up. Maybe a minute amount from the recording process, but nothing remotely noticeable.
